The Mutiara Line in brief

Penang's first LRT line runs about 29.7 km from KOMTAR in George Town along the east coast to Bayan Lepas, with 20 stations and two provisional ones. Construction began in 2025, with opening targeted for the end of 2031. A later segment links Macallum to Penang Sentral on the mainland.
